Called once in town (no prior reservation) - had a reservation at another hotel in town but when went to check in (at other hotel), it didn't look safe for a single female. So I researched on-line and found this one. Front desk staff was very nice and confirmed ok for pets. Allowed me to come right over and check in. Later, however, I did have a problem. When I went to the hotel during my lunch hour the front desk called my room with a complaint. They advised my pup had been barking while I was at work. She told me then that their policy of ‘no pets alone’ is told to all customers up front. It in fact, was not told to me. I was unaware my pup couldn't stay in the room if I wasn’t there with him. I had nowhere to take him, however, so they were very accommodating. They allowed me to continue to leave my pup that day while I was at work and took my cell phone # (just in case) so they could call me ASAP if any complaints were lodged by other guests concerning his barking.
