| Rating: 1/10 | Hotel lies about their pet policy | | I recently (Sept 2007) stayed at this hotel. Prior to booking, I called to inquire about their pet policy. They said that they required smoking rooms and a $10.00 per night fee. When we arrived, they gave us a pet policy sheet which indicated we could not leave the pet unattended in the room. This caused us major problems on our vacation--as I do not book hotels that have that policy. We were stuck with no recourse and the hotel staff took a "that's tough" attitude when I let them know I called ahead and they did not inform us of all components of their pet policy. | | Restrictions/Fees notes: I believe this hotel withholds information on purpose to get pet-owners to book and doesn't tell you all the rules until you arrive and it is too late or too inconvenient to change. | | Reviewed by: Linda Maryville IL | | Review Date: September 2007 | | Accompanying pets: 17 pound pomeranian | | Date of Stay: September 2007 |
