Ok, to be honest, La Quinta is nothing fancy, especially when Las Vegas is your destination, but if you are traveling with a pet this is a great place to stay for a short visit and it is surprisingly quiet and clean and they have a descent sized fridge in the room and a microwave as well as pay-per-view movies and free breakfasts. We have stayed at the La Quinta on Paradise Road on several occasions over the past 3 years, each time with our 40 pound dog. She goes just about everywhere with us now and we love being able to bring her and not worry about leaving her with a boarder. On our past trips to Vegas, before we owned our dog, we have stayed at The Venetian, The Mirage, The MGM and The Golden Nugget downtown, and, yes we love the suites at those hotels and much prefer them to the rooms at La Quinta. But since those hotels do not allow us to bring our dog, we have learned to also enjoy the pet-friendly La Quinta a lot and we like how close it is to The Hard Rock Casino and about 15 great restaurants, including The Rainbow Room, which is literally in walking distance. The Strip is only 3-5 minutes away. So, over all, this is a great pet-friendly place, in a convenient location and you can not beat the price for what you get. Use your AAA membership to get even better rates!
